Roger Green and the team embarqed on building a Westfield AeroRace from scratch. That's right, they wanted to build a race car themselves and then race it in the BARC Westfield Race Series.
Since 1991 Westfield has run its own "Westfield Championship", in association with the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) and provides the perfect package for those who have always wanted have that little more excitement with driving. Westfield Sportscars Ltd go to every race to support the drivers, give technical advice on cars and provides a comprehensive spares support package.

As you would expect with a championship like this there is a strong camaraderie between the racers in the paddock and you will always find a helping hand in the event of a problem. This racing is perfect for both the newcomer to circuit racing and experienced racers. It does not rely upon a large budget and close racing is ensured without placing a premium on expensive bolt-on parts or technical expertise. The cars are relatively unstressed due to the unmodified engine specification, providing reliability and low running costs
